I thought about this program but after working on a cement floor all day at Land O' Lakes I would never go back to standing on a hard floor all day. You feel it in your back, neck and legs after a couple hours. Maybe I'm getting old? lol

I am thinking of doing this program, I am comparing it to just a normal ag tech program, both offered at Fanshawe college in London. If I take the JD program, am I only limited to JD companies, also if I take the normal ag tech am I not eligible for a JD company? Let me know

what would it cost to go to school to learn the john deer tractor technician? thanks

I worked for Brandt here in Canada for some time and didn't even know about this program. Now I'm over at Finning in the THINK BIG program but it really would have been nice if this program got more publicity. Feels like I've been going bacowards with this program over the last few monthes with the difference in machine specifics, company protocols, and management systems.

whats the website or some kind of place where I can get more information because I didn't catch it in the video.

They started hiring less experience guys and paying them top dollar, and basically took me for granted every chance they could. The equipment is amazing, the training is top notch, tcsm's that actually care, so ya it is definitely based on which dealer you work for.

I was a JD tech for around 10 years, advanced level training, plaque and all. I guess it depends on the dealer. I worked pretty much on the road all the time, 24 hour service, I've even ran the shop as manager when they were without one.
