Apologies in advance for the poor videoing quality, however, it was a difficult day for filming! Also apologies for the "wondershare" logo in the middle of some scenes, I was having some technical difficulties with new software!!! Hi there,It's called a "Loy".It comes from the Gaelic term "Laí" which actually means "spade" in Irish. It's about 14 inches long by 3 inches wide and bent with a handle 5 to 6 feet long. The blade has a single step for use with the right foot as you can see in the video. Regards weight if you ever used a spade it would be very similar. You can visit the Loy Association of Ireland website for some history: loyassociation.ie Thanks!
