Take a look at the Parma Folding defoliator. This is a completely new design utilizing an all hydraulic system to turn the beater drums. Hydraulics have long been tested in the Ag industry and have been found to be far superior both in ease of use and serviceability. You will also notice there are no large holding tanks for hydraulic oil. When designing the 280 we designed the frame to hold all of the reserve oil needed to run the drums.
