Machines | (OUTDATED) Anti-Vehicle Turrets and You (An Engineer's Strategy Guide in PlanetSide 2)

Check out the Channel here! (http://youtube.com/WarpathWrel) When the Engineer's Anti-Vehicle Turret, came out, I jumped all over it. I listed all of the reasons why I thought it was overpowered, and why it was going to be or probably should be nerfed. It hasn't been nerfed yet, but I still think it's coming. In the video, it's only me. One man. Imagine if I had a buddy or two, or a squad of these things? It's the ultimate anti-everything-except-air tool, and the closest thing to Artillery currently in the game, (except for maybe Anchored Prowlers.) What you don't see, due to editing, are the long 20+ vehicle streaks that are taking place during the footage, but hopefully you'll get a rough idea of what the turret can do in capable hands. I love these old videos, they have the funny captions in them, I know these take FOREVER to edit and adding just those small captions can take a long time, but i find to enjoy these old videos a lot for this reason.

This weapon needs to be seriously changed in this game. It makes fights into standstill as the loser to battles just retreat up a hill 1000m away with 20-30 AV turrets and stop ANY form of ground advancement. Game breaking in my humble opinion as they can curve around cover and constantly spam them and the attacker is left defenseless as AV turrets don't render at that distance.

they changed the AV turret recent Patch - you are unable to cert the turret to lower the cooldown (both AV and Mana)

it would be cool if PS2 had quake 3 style violence. imagine chunks of flesh jumping after hitting someone with a rocket.

i can't find how to put a lower sensitivity on a thumb button, please help.

I've been using a sensitivity thing in games for years, but I just program it into the game's control code, and it only works with certain games.
I should get a gamer mouse :L -
You forgot to mention one thing if you will place AV turret far enought rockets wont render and enemy wont be even able to see where this rocket is coming from, all they will see is their vechicle HP droping.

nop, he searched me for 10 min and killed me 5 times (i was a max, he HA), the medic was his friend i think lol

and when no one want to repair my max i v3 (repair) and after 20 seconds i start giving everyone who spawns 1 bullet so that they notice me and repair, works every time

today a friendly tank pancaked my friend and almost killed me (im a max) so i destroyed him. and killed an infi after being revived because he shot a tank mine that killed me
