Preparations for the 2012 London Olympics at Dorney Rowing Lake are advancing with three major construction projects. Up to 30,000 spectators a day, 20,000 seated, are expected for 18 days of Rowing, Canoe/Kayak and Paralympic events. Earlier this year, Dorney Rowing Lake won top national town planning honours for sports venues
