Why do people always hate things that are new
-
Still acts like a wankel. Burning oil like crazy
-
It would be too expensive to make it last long enough to cope with current engines. This might compete as a some kind of a high performance engine if they really show those results in power.
-
Duke is totally fake
-
I could bet it burns oil like a two stroke or Wankel.
-
This is fucking stupid. Also, Fuck You for ripping off someone else.
-
Very nice concept
-
power output in HP?

this video is know available at TORQUEOFINFORMATION.COM...

The most well-known application is in torpedoes, where the cylindrical shape is desirable. The modern Mark 48 torpedo is powered by a 500 hp swashplate engine geared to a pump-jet propulsor. It is fueled by Otto fuel II, a monopropellant that requires no oxygen supply and can propel the torpedo at up to 65 knots (120 km/h) (74.56 mph).[15]
Other applications include pneumatic and hydraulic motors, hydrostatic transmissions such as Honda's Hondamatic CVT,[16] and air conditioner pumps.[17] Also, some Stirling engines use a swashplate arrangement, e.g., Stirling Thermal Motors' STM 4-120 engine.[18] -
Resonance could be an issue with wave-like motion.

LOL joke right!
-
если и получит применение то очень узкое... автомобилям точно не зайдет.....
изобретатели(в абсолютном большинстве) - это больные люди и они не могут понять что + и - это не равные значения и хотят своими маленькими плюсами перекрыть огромные минусы... -
reduction in parts maybe, reduction in torque definitely. Five cylinders pushing one crank journal at awkward angles. You wouldn't pull or push on a wrench that way and expect good results. LEVERAGE is KING and cams don't function well in reverse IE. you don't push on the head of an open intake valve and expect the cam to rotate so you can close it. Maybe you will be nominated with the others for the WANK-EL AWARD

IDK...
-
very interesting!
-
Please see piston pump used in hydraulics for many many years
-
The advantages ?
-
harmonic balancer
-
This has to vibrate as hell with this giant block of metal wobbling around in there
