1. 7 liter engine and it only puts out 200 hp. thats not very impressive considering companys like cummins or isuzu can build a 5 liter or less and make that much power and more with a 4 cylinder. bad thing bout 4 cylinders is that they have balance issues. a 6 cylinder engine will balance itself a 4 cylinder wont so it has to have a balance shaft and if that goes out the engine is toast.

7. I know right. Im a huge cat fan, I believe the bigger cats and even the smaller are the most durable and reliable machines you can even get.
8. letsdig18, Liebherr makes its own engines, a 7 liter 4 cylinder of up to 200hp and a 10.5 liter six pot. The 4 banger is bigger than most of the competitions six pots. I still dont like the Dana hydrostatic they use in their loaders though...
9. Cat stole that Idea from International . International had the first rear engine track loader but it was too early for its time just never caught on then Cat bought the patten and I guess just at the right time . the 953 is a good loader.
10. lol are u kiding me? A cat 953 or 963 would out run this machine anyday. Ask any operater who operates a cat.

12. I was surprised at how well the machine dug and pushed dirt. not bad for a 4 cylinder!
