Kurt Kostecki normally serves as an apprentice mechanic at Craig Lowndes’ Triple Eight race Engineering Team. But this weekend he will make his Supercars debut against the six time Bathurst champion and one of the greats of the sport. At just 18, Kostecki, replacing the injured Lee Holdsworth, will become the fourth youngest ever driver in Supercars history and today the young West Australian and Lowndes met in pit lane as they prepare for tomorrow’s first practice session.
