Machines | New Holland Tractor Dealer - Alun Jones, Dryslwyn
videos | at work | information | view | construction
In the car, shopping, when I saw this transporter with two tractors on. Followed it, to find these very helpful guys who let me film the removal of the tractors, and invited me to look at the rest of the kit on the premises. Mostly Ford and NH, of course, but a Massey Ferguson 360 in very clean condition, and a not-so-clean David Brown 995. Plus a great new forager waiting for Spring.

Tried to find him the other day, and failed! Can you tell me how to find him? Alan
-
No I haven't - must look him up!
-
Dead right - but was the lorry driver in the picture? He was the one who was so helpful, and he may have been the owner's son, but I like to think that they are taught to be helpful. They certainly have a good stock of tractors, all sizes (though the biggest, the 175, was not new)

I'd say the dealer was only delighted for you to film and broadcast on the internet, free advertising for him. He has some nice stuff.

Ya da ford and masseys wer great although im not 2 fond of newer masseys(2005-2010) 4 some reason i prefer new hollands and john deeres!
-
You're right! The 7740 doesn't drop at all, really. the latest though are distinctly droopy. doesn't make 'em look very powerful, whereas the JD go for chunky powerful good looks. Ford used to, MF in some models.
-
Ya i get ur drift but da 7740 dosent droop dat much compared 2 say da ts115.

I mean that I am not a fan of bonnets drooping down like they have lost interest. I prefer a square masculine-looking straight forward bonnet which appears to hold a lot more engine. Just my opinion. Alan

Wat ya mean by looks lik a gud 1??

Thanks very much, Ervans. Alan

Thanks Mr. Rakerman. I usually try to have a camera in the car when I'm out, even though it was raining! But I stood in entrance to the shed to get the unloading, much was indoors, and then it stopped. Good advertising indeed - but then why not? They were very fair to me. (Even got a free calender) Alan
