Machines | Moving Large Rocks, Winching and Digging with Homemade equipment
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Clearing a building site. Have a year or two to do this so working with my own equipment and some stuff I am building. Built a 3 Point Hitch mounted electric winch. Also using the homemade backhoe I built a few years back. Adding to that is the Rock bucket that I made and has come in handy as I dig through Glacial Gravel.

Note that I bought a mini excavator a year ago and this homemade backhoe will likely become part of a future project.

A rock of that size contains roughly 256 souls. Souls of racoons, Indians, bears, Bigfoot, you name it. I like to have that one on the edge of my to-be pond.

I'm not an expert with spirits but being cursed is horrible when a simple "asking" for those rocks can save countless headache. But if you bought the land in a ceremonial way probably you don't have to ask since it's technically yours. But if you see any signs of bad luck... then it's time to solve that - and know where to look.

There is a true story where a non-believer man took some large stones in Calif. He then lines his house with them. All the people in the house didn't make it...thru a series of tragedies. It's still haunted today by the guy who took the rocks. Simply ask for the rocks while you take them could help... "Can I have your rocks?" Then you say, "Yes." You usually have to ask for major foundation items...e.g. stones/pylons.

Looks like fun. Thx for vid.

Thanks for the comments. I was given some chains with grab hooks but as when pulling logs I prefer slip hooks for the reason you mention. Will have to pick up a couple of slip hooks.

hey when your hooking onto those large rocks sometimes a steel choker bites better take a double wrap then choke so your grabbing from all sides and if theres any low spots in the rock I sometimes throw a piece of wood in as a spacer wich makes the choker grip there as well if that makes any sense to you.... sometimes they still slip but it is a bit more dependable :P good looking winch! and hoe

Too much time spent digging, not enough recording.
