Based on the design of Bandit’s extremely popular larger dedicated forestry mowers, the Model 72FM brings the same capability, durability and mowing power to skid-steer attachments. This high-power mowing and mulching head features an overall width of 84 1/4 inches and a mowing width of 72 inches, making it maneuverable for selective land clearing in narrow areas. It features a replaceable anvil that regulates the cut, smoothing out the grinding process, and with a vertical reach of over 5 feet, it can topple trees, grinds down the stumps, then mulch the felled tree straight into the soil. It’s well-suited for land and right-of-way clearing projects, municipal clearing, trail maintenance, and it’s especially effective in selective forest thinning operations where the Model 72FM’s small size and big mulching power allow it to clear dense undergrowth without harming larger trees. The Model 72FM attaches via quick-attach plate in seconds and runs off the skid-steer loader’s hydraulic system. A minimum of 85 horsepower and a hydraulic flow of 23 GPM are required to effectively operate the Model 72FM. Standard items include a hydraulic protection block to help protect skid-steer pumps, a pinned adjustable push bar, a weld-on chain curtain to help reduce material blow-back, and hydraulic hoses with quick-disconnect fittings. The Model 72FM literally attaches to skid-steer loaders in seconds. As with all Bandit products, the Model 72FM is manufactured by specialized teams using the highest-grade components and solid welded construction to help ensure quality and durability in all conditions. Backed by the industry’s best factory support, the Model 72FM is quickly becoming the mulching and mowing head of choice for professionals working in all conditions, all around the world.
