My dad was blown up in a mining accident involving methane gas built up in a coal mine. They said the blast was so powerful it was like being inside a huge cannon.
It threw him over 50 feet, the force of the explosion and landing crushed his body.
He was a mining and safety engineer for Massey Coal doing his job trying to save other miners. -
From the dynamic brakes failing then they fired him from it being the trucks error
-
Glad no one seen my dad's haul truck he rolled last week 😭😭

BATTLERS FUARRK!

can you tell me the name of the music ?

Poor vehicle.. Feel sad here

MSHA has strict rules concerning the operation of all vehicles on the mine site. The majority of these accidents were the result of violating one or more of these rules. Mining in the USA has long since outstripped mainstream industry in job safety, thanks entirely to these rules designed for the safe operation of a mine.

What's the name of video's background music ?

Not surprisingly, American miners still have to fight daily for a safe & healthy workplace. To hear how miners who make safety complaints today are treated by outlaw coal operators, check out Raymond Crooke's song "Big Coal Don't Like This Man At All" on YouTube. It tells the true story of Kentucky coal miner Charles Scott Howard, who stood up for safety at an underground mine operated by Arch Coal and was fired as a result. He filed a whistleblower case, won his job back and is working in the mines again!
