ME 553 (Kinematics) Final Project. A 6 legged walker driven by an electric screwdriver. The goal was to create a four bar linkage and demonstrate it's motion with a hand crank. We went above and beyond the rubric by adding 5 other legs and a motor. It didn't need to turn, it didn't need to be efficient, it just had to demonstrate we did the calculations and analysis of the path of the outer most point of the linkage. I'm sorry, but I will not share the details of this project beyond what you see in the video because that could be considered academic misconduct. Please don't ask me for the dimensions of the legs or the geometry of the mechanism. That information is what the project was graded on.

Hello everyone. This is just a combination of 6 fourbar linkages in phase to create the tripod gait and walk sideways.The lengths of the links don't matter much as long as you keep then all the same. and the first link is the base, second link the crank and two rockers. Check out hhexapods with 18 DOFs with motion planning and inverse kinematics.
