You should've had a chainsaw or a block of wood or something. I'm not used to you being out of your element but you did a good job anyway. A-PLUS!
-
Nice video again you're up quite high in that rig
-
Nice too bad Terex was broken up under anti trust laws in the 1970's by the justice department of the United States
-
My dad built and worked on Euclid trucks for decades. I remember when this model rolled out. Massive

honestly you could most likely pull off the greatest heist ever, bank wall, no problem, cars in the way? no problem. road block? you know what to do.... except for the glass, replace with bullet proof shit, might want to add a huge ass fuel tank in the bed of the truck. you might just need to pimp this thing out, it would be fun!

@gangesexcavating Ahhh, now it's starting to make sense. This must be at Copper Mountain. I knew they bought 5 used 260 ton trucks, and didn't even make the connection. They also bought a used EX5500 from a contractor here. They started up early last year with preliminary work, so the 830Es have been running for almost a year now, that would explain why they don't look brand new.

Cool, don't see too many of these. I'm guessing these were from Kemess? Was the video shot there?, or did another mine buy them?
-
I just figured my flat would fit three times into ground-space this truck uses.

Hi skadill, I have often wondered what the comparison of a normal car or road going truck Licence as is on the back and front, would look on the 'bumper' of a truck this big? Any chance, next time you are out and about with camera like on this video to use a magnet to attach one to a truck? Take care. mrbluenun Thanks for the upload of this BTW!

Gots a brand new tire, big truck.

@localcrew Yes,but if the fine was even just the fuel bill for what was used,it would be harsh punishment

Dude -- the keys were in the ignition! You could have gone all "Grand Theft Auto" in that beast! Probably not good form though. "Good Neighbor" & stuff.
Tires were changed with a manipulator. A good tire team could have one swapped out in a couple hours. Most of the heavy lifting was done with an overhead crane. Some special tools were used attached to a fork lift to. Eng swaps would take about 7-10 days depending on unplanned work.
Fun to drive but the novelty wore off after a while. I worked at Kemess mine for 12 years and drove and repaired these trucks.
