The last era where the British had an identity , knew who they were and were not slaves to the Socialist Union Labor communist scum brainwashing them to great free lunch from taxpayers in other words themselves and in other words borrowing money till the inevitable bankruptcy , and eventually along came Margret Thatcher after the whole nationalized structure set up by the Fabian Socialist Union Labor Communists just collapsed for the simple reason non of it was profitable so relied on government subsidy to survive , just like China now , people never learn , and even today they have not learnt a single thing about state owned enterprise , it doesn't work .
