On the hydrostatic drive tractor how can you use the individual brake pedals when they are directly in front of the hydro treadle pedal? It looks impossible to do!

Awesome Video! Thanks!!!

I will take a gear drive any day

Accidently found this website and immediately put it into my favorites. I have learned more about the Mahindra versa other makes in just a few minutes of observing these videos than any other and am well pleased with what I have learned and will be visiting this site often.

Too bad we have to import this crap. America, you are ready to fail.

I've been told it is best to keep your engine RPM up when using a hydrostatic transmission. Wondering what your opinion on this is?

Sound quality is bad as mentioned but, a very good teacher.

I want to get an e max with the shuttle shifter transmission so far mahindra is the only brand that I've seen that offers a shuttle shifter transmission in a sub compact tractor nothing against hydros I just prefer a manual and I like the price tag on the e max it's cheaper than a John deere mahindra makes the best tractors I can't wait to get my e max

What do you mean by "we see erosion in all hydrostatic brands" and how much does it typically cost to get it repaired/rebuilt or whatever you mean? Thanks. I'm trying to decide which to buy.

Any recommendations on transmission fluid for the Hydro if the Mahindra branded fluid is hard to come by?
The Tractor Supply "Traveller Universal Tractor Trans Fluid" has "Mahindra" on the list on the back. Any thoughts on what will and what wont work well? -
Nice Video. I learned something!

Looking into buying a compact tractor soon. Will be mowing about 3 acres.Thinking of buying something in the 25 to 30 hp,of course i will need a bucket for some work.My question is a mid mount or rear mounted mower?I have a riding mower now and think a mid mount would be the same.Everyone says the rear mounted mowers are much better. If i am only going to use the bucket 2 or 3 times a year and the mower once a week, wouldnt a mid mount be ideal.Love these mahindras.

Joshua, stand still, please. Rocking side to side is highly distracting.

Great video. Thanks for clearing up the difference between the two.

Just bought a hydro, my only complaint is the rocker set up they use. My foot is a 12 so there is very little room for your foot between directional pedals. You should not operate the tractor, like he shows his foot in the video, heel on reverse and toe on fwd, because this is dangerous because the foot placement is not stable during travel. Also you have to lift foot, knee and thigh to reverse. This may not seem like much but after hours of operation the right leg feels the stress. It is easier to lift half the foot to shift side to side(fwd or reverse). JD, LS and New Holland use the side by side setup but they are inferior in performance and or price value. One more thing; the LS (which makes or made McCormick, Montana, Farm Trac, and Taft) had the best pedal performance, as soon as you let off either drive pedals the tires stopped turning like full brake even to the point of skidding and stayed put even on grades. The rocker set ups seem to roll ever so slightly initially.Who knows how the rolling will be as hours and wear build up?

Very informative to someone like me!!! Thanks for the education

A public comment. Anyone who says that the music is too loud, we know. If you look at our new videos, we have taken off the music. Also any more comments centered on that point, will be removed. Thank you.
