This is a nice 30 inch Magic Chef stove with a new feature I had not seen before. Sheesh nobody consults me on these thangs. LOL! The oven control has a thermocouple safety magnet inside it. You must press the control to light the pilot and wait till it gets warm enough to hold the safety magnet. before you release the control. Once she holds yall can operate the oven. Sweet! best design yet. Somebody musta been payin attention. LOL Previous models would allow gas out the pilot once gas was turned on so anytime the wind blew out the pilot in the oven their would be a tiny amount of gas in the kitchen. Smelling it up yall. This is better because if the pilot goes out the gas will be shut off and the stove still does not need power to operate. Sweet!

I was using propane to do the test, it was getting dark. This stove is a nat gas model. Using propane is an easy way to quick test without nat gas. The flames were high as a result but I just wanted to test the stove and not cook on it. LOL
