4. Gawwd I love that smell of asphalt! I would literally sink my teeth into a fat slab of that black hairy steaming hot pile of asphalt! 
5. wish all drivers that haul asphalt would watch and read ur comment section,do u know how many drivers cant stay in the hopper and and raise the bed at the same time
6. Most of the bigger paving machines have hydraulic arms with rollers that will secure a truck from rolling out of the paver.  They tend to scratch your wheels, so most of the guys with polished or aluminum wheels prefer to dump without the hookup.

9. do you lift the box all the way up when you back in to the paving machine?
10. no you just ride your brakes to stay in the paver. theres no locks or hooks that grab ya
11. Shane keep light pressure on your brakes so the truck stays against the paving machine. Also all you have to do is stay in the center of the paving hopper as best as you can. watch the fella dumping the load you have and also pay attention where your going. its very easy really. you can also watch all of these paving videos and learn a lot as well
12. I've been driving a tri-axle up here in Canada since March. I haven't been put on any paving assignments thus far, strictly dirt, broken up asphalt, and aggregates like concrete and sand. I'm a little apprehensive because I hear the asphalt paver operator (we contract to another company) is kind of a dick. I don't want to mess up so I get nervous. Any advice? I'm only 26.

16. When we back into the paver we hold our brakes and it pushes us until the load of asphalt is used... Concrete pavers work the same way but its a lot harder to work with one of them. thanks for watching and your question...watch the others i have and theres more to come
