how the hell did you get a machine gun in canada? from what I can understand its difficult to even have a pistol.
also where did you get that uniform and gear i want a set! -
Most modern belt fed machine guns are air cooled and designed for quick barrel changes. With the water cooled system, how long can you have sustained fire? I have heard some people say that as long as you keep it full with water then you don't have to worry about overheating. What do you think?

Its a soviet gun guys doesnt matter if it predates the soviet era. The 1910 was used up into the early 50s. Buy that time. It was a soviet gun
And if im not misstaken that one looks like its being fed from an upside down mg34 belt like alot of people actually did in the war
Its documented germans went back to using the o8/15 as a final defense gun in later years and the russians used the maxim as standard
And maxim belts are cloth and must be kept dry or else they shrink putting stress on extraction causing the guns to fail
And on the eastern front during the winter keeping the belts dry was almost impossible.
The russians knew of the germans using 34 belts
So they would do the same with captured mg34 belts. Its pretty interesting
