The freshman in Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University have worked in teams to each develop an aircraft that is lighter than air. Working in teams, the students have designed, built, and conducted test flights while adhering to strict regulations. With 30 aircrafts in all, each team raced their aircraft through an obstacle course to compete for first place.
