On sunday 14th March, due to engineering work around the slow Northampton loop, resulting in no trains around that line. This meening all services north of Northampton were having to travel around the fast lines, avoiding Northampton, including London Midland 350's, which is very rare. Not a single London Midland train is planned to travel around this route, thats why its rare. This train was the 14:42 from Milton Keynes non-stop to Rugby. 350109, departing from Platform 5 at MK. INCLUDES: 1. The whole journey from Milton Keynes to Wolverton with out any pauses! 2. Passing Castlethorpe and the old platforms. 3. Hanslope Junction 4. The Northampton lines cutting off ("The Bird Cage" as drivers call it) 5. Entering & Leaving a tunnel 6. Racing M1 traffic in a London Midland desiro, which felt so strange! 7. Entering and Leaving Kilsby tunnel 8. The slow lines from N.hampton and Long Buckby re-joining. 9. Approaching Rugby 10. Pulling into platform 3 (the bay) at Rugby.
