Machines | Lifting Fodder Beet into Clamp
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Quite a bit of this grown around here, and it's lifted and stored for cattle feed. Dairy farmers use it, too, as a useful source of nutrients. New Holland T7.200 lifting with Fendt 820 on the transport operation. Filmed in Cumbria, England.

Nice video , never saw this kind of harvester before , what brand is it??
-
a lot of farmers are starting to use it here in New Zealand

Most farmers use sugar beet or potatoes to fatten the young bulls and to stop them from eating meal like a replacement. Good Catch as well, love seeing earth fruit harvest

Great video Alan! Really liked it and something you don't see much of here and probably wont here. Was it going straight into a silage pit then? Last year farm behind me chucked a whole load in while maize was being put in. This year they added rolled barley, cattle cake and minerals into the pit while maize was coming in. Don't know if you saw this video of mine? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwwKCdbCVAE
