Machines | Let's Play Farming Simulator 2017, Sosnovka #9: Exploring And Selling Crops!
videos | at work | information | view | construction
In today's Let's Play FS17, set in Sosnovka - We've commited to buying a Kramer front loader, we've decided that we're going to do our best not to lease any more machinery on this map. That's nice and all, but suddenly we're going to have to come up with a very large pile of money from somewhere! In order to find some of it, we're going to sell a pile of grain today and take a little look around the map whilst we're at it. Our question for the week - 'In order to get enough money to buy a combine, which job should I do. Some logging with a chainsaw and trailer or some silage at the BGA?' in Norway we dont blink left when going straight in a roundabout but we do blink out like you showed.
-
Don't forget to send the train off at the transport company and the mill for additional money!

With regards to your thoughts on leasing and contracting, I guess in real life (and also watching some real life farming videos), it is normal for some farmers to lease their equipment and also do a lot of contracting work - at the end of the day, it is cash that counts - make money where you can, when you can and pay your bills, put food on the table and enjoy your life. Do the same in game I guess if it pleases you :))
-
We're do you sell eggs in this map?
-
You should do bouth of them. Theres nice piece of land under the field 36 (you passed it). Theres some trees, if you cut those trees then you can do some mowing there. I thikn it'll be perfect.
-
Do all the contracting you want. its the same gameplay regardless of what you do. and people do jobs if they have extra time and equipment
-
Doing the contracting is not cheating course it is a features not the game that was meant to be used.

Logging

What kind of microphone do you use for your videos (it's good)?
-
I think you should go along with the silage. I personally think it would be a more interesting thing to watch and it would be cool to see you fill up that bunker. Keep up the great work, love your vids!

Silage..
-
You can sell logs in the biogass woodchip place
-
Also do silage because it's in my opinion easier and quicker. And gives you a good amount of money.
-
Lease the things you will use a couple times and buy the stuff you use a lot.
-
I think that the missions are fine if it was cheating they wouldn't have put it in the game and like a small time farmer can get money by do work for bigger farmers so it's fine but when you get stable and don't need money I think you should slow down on the or stop doing them

Silage bales

My opinion is to keep going with the contracting work, helps offset your daily maintenance costs and lowers price of fields so they are a little cheaper when you get around to buying them. Also try to use the covers on tippers when transporting grain, those poor drivers you passed would have been choking lol.
