Machines | Largest concrete pour for Brisbane's Airport Link Project
videos | at work | information | view | construction
An engineering feat was carried out by Thiess John Holland on February 25, 2010 with a 15-hour operation to lay 2,800 cubic metres of concrete. The pour completed a section of the Airport Link tunnel roof in Kedron, Brisbane's north. A team of more than 50 people worked round the clock to undertake one continuous pour - the largest concrete pour to be undertaken for construction of the Airport Link Project. A total of 380 concrete trucks will be used for the pour, approximately 37 trucks every hour, requiring meticulous planning and scheduling of vehicle deliveries to the Kedron site.

Please please give back the jurisdiction to the police and off the hands of the silly Airport Link Hotline (more like coldline!, so cold its FROZEN)!? So as to actually get some action when called apon to investigate! E.g. the unbelivable and marathon ballbreaking noisy generators so very close to Flats and Houses! People havn't had a descent night sleep for 6 months too long already! Give us all a brealk u Freaks! How incredibly nieve and inconsiderate can these construction people be!? Peace;]

The noise associated with this project is beyond a joke! Very in conciderate indeed! The only noise pople around these type of project(s) should put up with is the bubble dome they build around and on top of the project to elliminate any noise from their cripedy-crapedy machinery! All right around a quary! But definately not arounfd suburbia! Then they can make all the noise they want the stupid eggheads of this project. They can even go as farr as campaigning themselves as the quiet achivers!?

Yeah just next time a big project like this comes along, could we please not let the City of the Living Dead or the Simpsons ok these types of projects! Its definately obvious that not enough homework was done to work close or in suburbia, unless a bunch of crazy mad scientist were involved in trying to make every one living around a mile- 2 miles radias of the project to run to the hills screaming to the top of their voices with their heads on their hands!? Wake up u mororns! Peace:|
