The driver needs to pause just a second in between gears on his up shift, as it should not grind then. It's a heavy haul trans., not a NASCAR trans.

What happened to the vid u had of 2 guys riding and talking shit in the truck???

Just to let you know when your clutch brake hasn't stopped the input shaft fully so you can grab your first gear to take of off again. Just let the clutch out and depress again till the brake stops it.
Also another help to slow your input shaft is down shift that truck.
When your float to neutral from hi side aka road gears and you throw it in neutral and coast to a stop that shaft is spinning really fast so takes the brake forever to stop the shaft.
Or if you choose to do this neutral from road range gears then at least when stopping and your around 5mph rolling hit the throttle and grab 2nd or 3rd then come to a stop and the gears are much easier to match. -
your grinding because you are man handling the shifter and trying to shift to fast and not letting rpms to drop. If you put jake on low setting that will work. Other than that, Bring shifter to neutral while floating and take your sweet time going into next gear.

Can't downshift or what?

For not being a truck driver -- I noticed that you were floating the gears quite respectably. Heard very little grinding. You should be proud, you did a good job man.

a motor can be pnumatic, steam, electric, gas, diesel or whatever as long as it is converting energy
-
motors run off electricity...Engines run on fuels.
-
This is the truck you bought from the lowboy man?
-
I took mine in a F350 lol then went back and got the air brake restriction off and didn't have to do another driving test? Its a 380hp cat

You take the cdl test with a automatic? I always downshift as I'm stopping so if something happens I can get outta my own way. I see everyone on here is a professional and is lecturing you so I'm not going to add to the gayness. Wats the hp on tht T-800 I think they're the best trucks.
