I'm not sure what the title "engineer" may mean in New Zealand...but in a global or worldwide sense, this is NOT mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineers are those who would design the automation machines, or preform stress analysis of the glass, or design control systems in order to regulate or optimize the plant's processes. Not only that, but also have a strong theoretical and practical background in vibrations, controls, and thermodynamics.

Mechanical engineering is design and analysis, the work shown in the video is technician/mechanic work.

That being said, a technician's work and an engineer's work, should be valued equally. Peace.
