Full race on-board footage from Matt Holt and Josh Muggleton's #65 HSV VE GTS. The race started under safety car due to the wet conditions with Matt starting the race and handing over to me just before half way. Matt pitted in from 2nd in class and the crew from Holt Engineering of Stewart, Jay and Brendan did an AMAZING pit stop to put me out on track in 1st outright once all the stops had completed. I pushed as hard as a could while still safely ensuring Matt would win the State Championship. The 4WD Evo of Daniel and Jacques Oosthuizen from CXC Global Racing just had too much grip in the wet and chased me down. If it was dry though, there was no way we would have been caught!! Once Dan Oost got passed, I went into protection mode whilst passing lapped cars to make sure that we safely finished 1st in class and gave Matt the State Title.
