Machines | Johnny Bares His Teeth - Heavy Hitch Toothbar
videos | at work | information | view | construction
First chance to use my new Heavy Hitch Toothbar on the John Deere 1025R. Pulling out some bushes in this video. That toothbar just reached right in there and grabbed them! This video also shows some backhoe work with the 260 backhoe. The John Deere 1025R is SO versatile. You can get your own toothbar at https://heavyhitch.com/store/replacement-parts/toothbar-for-john-deere-front-end-loader/ The Heavy Hitch toothbar is an alternative to the Piranha Tooth Bar from BXpanded. I don't have the PTB, so I can't do a direct comparison at this point. However, the Heavy Hitch version appears to be more aggressive for digging. Our next video will show the toothbar used for digging into a limestone rock driveway. Stay tuned.

HA!! another fun video!!! I had to do that last year,,,beats doing it by hand!!

Wow that Tooth bar made simple work of that brush, perhaps the main or tap root was holding in the ground but the backhoe took care of that.

Here in Norway you must be 18 to have driving licence to drive a car. You can practice from 16. Tractor you can take driving license when you are 16.

The homeowner doesn't appear to exert himself. Is he not physically able?

I like your videos I am a subscriber but I did appreciate the rude comment when you said its kubota dude. But never the less your doing good with your videos.

not sure why you didn't use the backhoe at first

I definitely agree that the 1 series is a very useful tractor. growing up on a farm with much larger tractors, you tend to miss out on the abilities of the smaller versatile machines, such as the 1 series. Before I purchased my 1025r TLB, my friend told me that getting the back hoe was a waste of money and that in general the smaller tractors were useless. Then just the other day, (1 month later) he asked to borrow my 1025r to dig a trench in his back yard. "Don't you have a big Case backhoe?" I asked. To which he replied: "Yes, but it can't get into the back yard." Can't help but feel a little bit of pride in my purchase! The 1025r has been no where near useless! Great videos! keep up the good work.

I think I'm getting the piranha bar for my 1025r

Very nice. I installed a thumb for the backhoe from "bxpanded". Very well made, check out their site.

The backhoe option is handy. With our 2130 [no toothbar] we'd dig under the rootball of 8-10 foot willows and transplant them. Not likely a recommended usage but it worked
It was our Yard Tractor mainly used to power the grain dryer and 6ft tiller. Two 4640's and a 700 Versatile did the rest. Today? A 318 ;) -
I don't appreciate you showing me this new toy... I already had to call up my local JD dealer, now this? Now I'm not even sure which will kill me first; my lady, my wallet, or my lack of intelligence...

Ok i got to admit that front bucket is pretty cool and did any buddy else get the ''SING'' commercial
-
None of my business but you could have used a chains once it was loose then just lifted it out roots and all.
-
Gee thanks now I have another on my list of "to buy" . Quick install ?

Contrats Katriel! Tim you got to do the fun part. It looked to me like Christy and the tractor were doing all the work. :-) Great video.

Hi Tim Jeff from Sheridan . To comment on the thumb I have one on my kubota and love it a must have. I have a question on your tooth bar? I have a bobcat with the normal tooth bar but with my new tractor I was looking at the one from bxpanded call the piranha it is kind of a new style. But yours looks like a cross between the piranha and my older style. What is your thoughts on it. I am kind of an old dog stuck keeping older styles that I know work but the newer styles look interesting.

Be nice to have a thumb attachment for your backhoe makes grabbing brush and limbs easier and a grapple bucket for the front loader.
