Japanese Naval Type 1 Flexible Aircraft Gun. This gun, made by the IJN's Yokusuka Arsenal in 1944, this is an all original bring-back trophy gun, C&R Amnesty gun. It runs about 1200RPM with decent ammunition. There is a custom made adapter bracket being used here to mount the gun to a common MG3 AA tri-pod using the original guns mounting trunnions. (We forgot to put the locking pin into the AA tri-pod head, so that is why the gun is bouncing all around here). Caliber 7.92 x 57mm (8mm). My friend Steve is the shooter, who had never shot it before.
