The 2014 J Riley demonstration day was held on 8 January 2014 in Norfolk. In action were the latest Vervaet Beet Eater 617 and 625 harvesters, along with the Vervaet Hydro Trike XL fitted with a Panien beet chaser body. In addition, a second Vervaet Hydro Trike was also shown, equipped with slurry injection equipment. The event also saw the UK debut of the Edenhall E25 trailed chaser. Valtra tractors and Kuhn machinery were also shown, for which Rileys are the agents for the Norfolk area.

I reckon it must be 50 years since Standens introduced the first UK self propelled single row beet harvester, we weren't convinced that any farmer would invest that amount of money, about £1400.00 when single row Rapides, Catchpole Cadets and Salmon tractor drawn harvesters could be bought for less than £400.00. Well done Jeremy.
