Hi, I'm Fiona Morrison studying a Certificate IV in Marketing at Hunter TAFE Newcastle campus and doing work placement at Hunter Research Foundation. I served 12 years in the air force and I've always been interested in advertising and marketing so I decided to study working in a marketing industry and I feel like I've really got the creative passion. So putting into practice what we learn in the classroom in a workplace has been fantastic. Meeting with industry people, attending meetings and even just working with a marketing team and the biggest challenges they face in a not for profit organisation has been really interesting. During the work placement here at Hunter Research I've updated the website with new images and content; been involved with research of mobile phone usage in teenagers in adolescence update on the client database our current MP and help with the organisation of the upcoming business breakfast.
