What a fucking weapon moron. Its not a armored door He lubricated the trunnion which transfers lub to the case which is a NO GO ! He loaded the gun entirely wrong and he loaded the belt backwards....Perfect demo of what not to do...

"Machine guns love oil." When I was in the Army we never oiled our weapons, because the oil attracted too much dirt and caused malfunctions and stoppages. We always fired them dry. I agree that most firearms, especially machine guns love oil, but in combat conditions you're asking for trouble. But I guess you don't have to worry about combat conditions.

The first doors were not armored. Why even say anything like that? They told us in 1997 When I took the class in Camp Lejeune it is not a bullet resistant vehicle.

20 seconds in and I have to call bullshit. When I was in Afghanistan "Humvees" were not used out on patrols anymore. They were completely replaced by MRAP's and MATV's; however, even years before this video was made we all had up-armored doors that had replaced that unarmored piece of crap that he has there.

I would hope that the 50 cal could penetrate the old armor of the Humvee, it's purpose is to take out troops, trucks, and all the way up to personnel carriers to include the BTR series from the former Soviet Union and even the BMD and early BMPs. If it couldn't, then we wouldn't mount them on our Abrams. Even the new up-armored HMMWVs with the thicker armor and ballistic glass would be sucking against a 50 cal round.

Pretty cool, but that's not an armored door. Pull one off an M1151 and you'll notice a whole world of difference.
