Pete Echols, master wood carver and tree cutter makes the final cut on this 118 foot Ponderosa Pine in the backyard. The tree measured 44" at the base and we counted 68 growth rings. The entire tree was cut up and removed by Jay Williams, local general contractor assisted by Doug. Thank you, gentlemen for a job well done! Notice after the tree is down how close to the fence and the cutter's truck it came. This was no accident but precision tree falling !!

The comments from the peanut gallery are enough to drive somebody that knows what they're doing insane. here's another cool Factoria just because it may have sixty rings just for educational purposes are you aware an evergreen pine tree or fir tree can grow in an excess of three feet per year with water and Sun conditions being proper. so some proper old school mathematics tells you that this could be in excess of 90 feet. just saying coming from a third generation logger no we are not lumberjacks. great skill from the Feller.

Wow, what a bunch of haters. Regardless of his lack of safety equipment or exactly how tall the tree is, blah, blah, blah... that man cut that tree down single handedly with no rope, no special equipment and dropped it exactly where he wanted it. So much so, that they didn't even move the little truck right next to where it fell. If I had done that, I would have moved everything including the house within a 1/2 mile radius. Give the man some credit, he's obviously been doing this for a long time and though we may not know it, there was obviously a reason they cut that tree down. I highly doubt he did it for the hell of it.

to cut such tree need 50 minutes, and to grow such tree again this much size we need 500 years, mad man destroying nature, such tree giving so much oxigen for human.
