Thanks for the video! I sprayed some doors recently (my first time) and I got a lot of big drips. Do you think that's because I was moving too slowly or because my tip was too big? I think I had a 311 in. Any advice would be helpful since my first set of doors looked crummy. Thanks :)

I sprayed some trim with my graco rac x 210 tip using pro classic alkyd acrylic. And have very slight orange peeling. I am going to use Solo on the next job. What tips do you have regarding orange peeling? Should I thin the paint a little with water?

Are you still using Seal Lock Primer on the doors or have you switched to something else? Does SW sell it?

Hi there Chris, first of all let me thank you for your videos they are very informative. I have a question, I'm thinking about spraying mall my doors and trim and was wondering what tip to use, I want to spray oil based sherwin-Williams enamel with a Titan 440 impact ,can I use 410 FF TIP to spray 6 inch crown moldings and base boards and what PSI would you spray at. Thank you for your videos and for taking the time to share your knowledge.

so trim then wall then ceiling? correct?
-
if painting a rental and no one in the home. floors are wood but being redone. ceilings are coved with a trim moulding 6 inches down from ceiling. paint all over the place bad edges etc.. what to paint first and do you paint trim and not worry about overpay or do you mask trim when you spray I guess I'm a little confused when it comes to painting trim first then wall then ceiling. and can that order still be done with coved ceilings

Cant find the prduct you use anywhere. Where do you buy the seal lock spray primer?
Also if window trim is preprimed on new construction do you still prime all the wood or just the nail holes and caulk? -
are you using oil bassed gloss ? or water based
-
Oh man. That stirring stick usage is a great idea.

Chris, I'm going to be spraying some doors, jams and trim soon but I'm just wondering when I get a fine finish tip for spaying, on the Pail of sherwin Williams paint it recommends a .015 - .021 tip size, is it still okay to use a .010 - .011 tip or do I have to thin the paint to use these tips? Thanks!!

nice yob i work the same like u about 6 years

cmon man,...
you didnt clean, sand, prime or dust those doors at all
Who are these vids for?
Do new home owners buy $900-$3,500 sprayers to screw it up?
Get Idaho painter to get it done right. -
You are good, but I'll give you a tip on doing doors. I noticed you just went up and down when spraying, you should cross them out too. It makes them more solid. I think you should hit your door edges again to, they suck paint up. I don't mean to be picky, you've got a nice system. I'm going to start using the stir sticks on the top of the doors. Thanks!

I'll be painting over trim that is already painted with semi-gloss and walls that are painted eggshell. I don't want to have to sand everything. Should I use a bonding primer to avoid that? If so, what do you recommend. Love your videos! Keep it up!

I also have the question about spraying 5 panel shaker doors. I struggle getting the inside edges of the panels. What would be the best process to get the inside square edge painted without laying to much paint on and creating runs?

hey I was wanting to open my own painting business but need a little more experience first and was wondering depending where you are in Idaho if I could shadow you at job or two?

wow looked easy I been painting for years for my self but mostly re-paints. I just took on a new home and want to paint the 21 doors/jambs and 20 windows, like that! I have been looking at all kinds of sprayers, don't have the 800 to get a graco from PPG or Sherwin williams. What sprayer are you using and what type of tip? I assume you have a real good top line airless sprayer. I think for me the graco x5 or magnum LT15 will have to work for now, but the tip and extension seems to be the trick to make the paint come out at about 4 in wide than the 8 or 12 I see other places. can you tell me the tip size and extension to getwith either of these sprayers? Thanks for your videos man good stuff!! Stay prosperous

Hi Chris, Do you have any tips on how to spray shaker style doors? Or Do I use the same technique?
-
door deckers are the best way to spray doors. Also cross hatching your walls if your not going to backroll for proper coverage..
