Don't you hate when your forget a bolt. By yourself. installed one one time by myself at the curb. Too old now. What a job at a junk yard.
-
watching this makes me want to go to kenny u pull... but it's too fucking cold in Canada to be doing that outside now.
-
I would pay $25 fee to have the junkyard pull it that's what I would do.
-
Junk yard doesn't allow jacks for safety reasons but the car is being held up by old rusty wheels

Good video. If in a jam, I think you can use a 12 point socket on the top two nuts. I don't remember the size. You can also separate the dip stick tube if you want. Jeep on!
-
Very useful video. Just knowing about those two reverse torx bolts was worth watching the video! Thanks! How long, in total, did this take you?

I miss the one in Red Deer, when they first opened, it was dirt cheap. Now if you want to pull your own parts, you have to go to Calgary or Edmonton.

Yes, "for safety reasons you are not allowed to bring a jack to the yard". Makes sense. Some places will let you use rolling jacks though. Once place I used to frequent had floor jacks with rubber tires. They were always gone though and usually left out in the yard...
