Machines | How to move heavy iron SOLO. Cheap, Dirty and Downright Dangerous.

"Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder but nobody wants to lift no heavy ass weights." -Ronnie Coleman This is the poorman's way to sling heavy iron around. No friends to help? No budget for cranes? No problem! The Egyptians built the pyramids, surely we can get a 5000LBS machine into the shop. Wear you safety squints and watch your toes, this is gonna get sketchy! Didn't no one want to give you a hand unloading that monstrosity? -
Nice machine! When sliding machines we use 4'x8'x1/2" sheets of plastic. That way it is plastic on plastic and it slides great. I'm always amazed the amount of weight that can be moved with brain power.
