this is on a 2005 ford powerstroke diesel with a 6.0 litre. this cannot be done on a 7.3 powerstroke because they dont have a VGT. Must have a programmer. The only programmer i know will smoke is an SCT. EDGE, Quadzilla and BANKS do not smoke. others may not smoke. Procedure: Locate the VGT switch on the turbo, unwrap the wire loom, cut one of the two wires, splice in a switch.
