Machines | How to Make 5 Gallon Brewing and Distilling Equipment: Time-Lapse
videos | at work | information | view | construction
If you're interested in knowing how to make your own copper brewing and distilling equipment, watch this video illustrating the complete build of a 5 gallon parts kit in under 3 minutes. We're using a 100% copper moonshine still kit by Clawhammer Supply (www.clawhammersupply.com). The actual process only took me 2.5 hours but it will take most folks between 4 and 8 hours. Note, Clawhammer's 5 gallon parts kit is NOT a complete, functional "moonshine still". Once assembled, the unit merely provides a basic framework for brewing and distilling equipment. The final product must be built by the purchaser using the tools and equipment listed in the videos. Some additional parts are also needed (to be provided by the purchaser), in order to manufacture functional equipment.

I don't think tig would work on copper. Maybe if you're building a stainless steel pot then you can tig that but copper is too soft
