This is a link to where you can buy this product https://regentstoneproducts.com/item_detail2.aspx?ItemCode=PROLEVEL Travertine 12"x12" tile floor installed over Schluter Ditra using Proleveling System by Progress Profiles. This system uses one base placed at the corners of the tiles, rather than having four bases placed around each corner. Employing a system that takes this approach results in cost and time savings, because of the reduced amount of product and time needed to use this system. As shown in the video, a number of tiles are first installed using standard practices placing the bases at each corner as the tile is being installed. Once a sufficient amount of tile has been set, the knobs are attached to the bases and tightened to bring the tiles into plane and reduce any lippage that may be present. This system, like all other leveling system is not a cure for uneven or wavy substrates; it is a tool to help eliminate lippage between tiles. All prep work that is required prior to installing tile is still necessary. Another benefit of this system is that the knobs can be adjusted as needed, or even removed to make any changes to the installed tile if necessary, without losing the base that is already in place. Once the tile has set the knobs can be removed by either hitting them with a rubber mallet or kicking in the direction of the grout line All tile installed by Sal DiBlasi, Elite-tile Company, in the Boston North Shore area Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/saldibs?feature=watch Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Elite-Tile-Company/56681633342 Website http://www.elitetileco.com/ Twitter https://twitter.com/saldiblasi1 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/saldiblasi1/ National Tile Contractors Association https://tile-assn.site-ym.com/

Hi Sal..if you had a plywood sub-floor , would you use ditra or use cement/ backer-board ? Also..what type of tile would you use in a 24 x 14 living room...granite or ceramic ? Thank you ( I love granite by the way, it's more durable and beautiful)

nice job, good system
-
Not to bad look cool
-
when u tightning these things u will pull up some off the tiles up and away from the glue i think
-
I love the tile colour to wood floor match..its going to be timeless..but that looks like a trip hazzard at the door plate. You should have transitioned the flooring measurement to be more even and taken all the new material dimensions into the final level..thicker base sheet of plywood or graduation.
-
glad that u mentioned a few times that it does not substitute for proper floor prep, contact with tile and mortor and all the ethics that are called for. this is a great install trick in the right hands.

Why Install Travertine with a spacer gap
Mighty as well Install porcelain or ceramic tile.
Travertine with no spacers looks 3X's as good
This is for those installers that want the same amount of money for less work. Taking advantage of the customers lack of knowledge.
Falls into the half ass category
Coming from a Professional installer-contractor, never handed out a business card. Don't need to all by word of mouth. Let your job do the talking and you'll be good!! -
Mr. DiBlasi is an excellent professional, I bet he knows how to do it without this system however I think this is time saver and very accurate way. I always look at his videos as top reference.

A good tile setter doesn't need all that shit!

HI Sal,
Thanks for all the instruction videos :) Is this still your preferred leveling system? -
When tiler prepare completely smooth and even substrate surface on the wall and on the floor ...
then, on that occasion,do not need to use plastic wedges lifter... -
I m tiling a whole building so that could save me a lot if i can
-
can you save the blue pieces?
