What does a catch can do and how do you install one? The boys from MCM are here to show you how its done! Mad New MCM Keytags available now: http://mightycarmods.com/collections/accessories Shop: http://www.mightycarmods.com/collections/ Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mightycarmods Forum: http://forums.mightycarmods.com Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.

Don't buy an overpriced catch can. They are simple and easy to make
-
How would I go onto installing a catch can on my 2004 Mazda rx8. I run my car hard, and I noticed allot of oil is being shot into my intake breather tube which is making my car poorly,
-
what did he put inside the catch can?

Good video, but WTF is with the camera zooms and waving! Like a f'ing five year old with a camera, Moog. Let Marty shoot or have someone else to it when Marty's working.

Some wrong info with this video. You can in fact use the pcv location for routing the hose. You can even delete the pcv. not every car has random holes in the rocker cover so the pcv location is the only way. This is more for a turbo car. DO NOT follow this video instruction if you have an N/A car.

This a big thing to do if you have a diesel with egr, will reduce the amount of intake sludge, As oil mist and exhaust gases bind together, will cause problems and power loss over time.
-
can you put an oil catch can on anything non turbo
-
The music that starts around 6:50 sounds like something from a Crash Bandicoot game

So a man was riding his snowmobile and it broke down so he called a mechanic to come help him. After looking at the sled, the mechanic says "Looks like you blew a seal, eh?" The man replies "Oh no, that's just frost on my moustache"

aryt guys I'v got a 206 gti 138 with most 180 parts etc I' had an a oil breather filter but oil temps going higher on motorways so removed it and put pipe breather back on yesterday! this is an intresting video my pipe breather has a spit off half way down thicker pipe breather obviously going to top throttle body but the thinner one goes to a bit at the bottom throttle body under butterfly! what one would I put filter to thick or thin? it was on the thick end but like say oil temps now getting higher cuz no airflow from induction pipe with k N Filter cuz pipes off that and filter added what way is best

Now tell the folks that they cant dispose that catched oil on the streets but use a proper way to throw it away.
-
ill agree they are good corn chips

Air-Oil separator next!!!!
-
I dont have a high performance vehicle, so this would be good for older high mileage cars that probably have worn out seals?
-
can we get a follow up on how much oil it catches with the mileage driven?
-
what is the intro song?

The end of the video is part one of how to share and let your friend grab your hose while pretending to work on a car. lol. Good video. Maybe shorter next time, it's just a catch can...not rocket science. ;.)
