Machines | How To Increase Horsepower - Explained
videos | at work | information | view | construction
How can you increase horsepower? There are several fundamental principles if you are going to increase the acceleration of your car, aside from obviously shedding some weight. I'll explain some different methods of how to increase horsepower. I just inherited a 2002 GMC Envoy and wanted to see if anyone else knows any ways to make this car accelerate faster. This thing doesn't have that get up and go feel like my old car

If you don't want any restriction in WHP get wider tires which have greater grip because wider tires have more friction(more surface area touching the ground). Be careful that in process you do not get incompatible tires or something that will overtime damage your car like low profile tires(low sidewalls-height of a tire) that are not really good for bumpy roads(doing damage to suspension system)-if roads you drive are generally good go for it!(more fuel consumption tho coz everything has its advantage and disadvantage). :)

i drive a 2000 integra with cp 12.1:5 compression pistons i wanna go boost n people argue with me all the time that high compression is not the way to go with this build the car is already at 279.8 whp. 182trq. help me out please

Really nice videos man. So I drive a 2009 subaru impreza 2.0R normally aspirated. Rated 110kw at flywheel. What would you say is the best way to approach my exhaust system regarding cat removal and the rest of the system for the best performance

could replacing the pistons with a different material be a variable depending if its light and durable?

I have a 1982 Camaro LC1 factory engine: Ohv V6 / 102 Bhp @ 4800 rpm / torque- 142 @ 2400 rpm / 2-bbl induction / C/R 8.5:1 / 173 CID 2.8 liters. It runs fine but I want to take it out and rebuild it and increase the horsepower to 300. Do you think that's possible? I didn't want to use super charger or turbo charger. If not possible what is max and what do your recommend I do to get there.

why 5252?
-
if burn more fuel inside the cylinder so the fuel economy will decrease. so it is not possible in this case to increase HP without decreasing fuel economy.

you seem to know a lot about cars. i would love to see your own car in a video with the mods list. thanks!! love the videos helps me decide what i want to do with my rinky dinky civic dx.

i have heard titanium alloy parts (valves, valve springs, piston, rods, crankshaft) can do a dramatic job of reducing inertial forces. I was curious as to how much of a difference titanium would make in for example a lambo v12. And also more curious as to what "carving" (making) such parts would cost relative to a custom forged crank (for eg). I am genuinely curious and would really be breat if u could just give a few figures at least. thx for great videos too.

This is rubbish, you don`t know what you`re talking about. You said at one point" double your revs, double your horsepower" this is blatantly wrong. The power rises as the revs rise until you reach a point where the valves are moving so fast that the air/fuel mixture cannot fill the cylinders properly due to the forces of inertia acting upon it, at which point the engine starts to lose power, if you increase the revs still further the engine makes less and less power. This is called a power curve. Power is not produced linearly but in a curve. !st year stuff.

hi this is good channel bro i just wanted to ask that how should i increase the hp of a vehicle but not the rpm of engine is there any way ??

Does it Effect Mileage ...?
-
Why isn't O2 used instead of NO to increase power...O2 could theoretically provide 5X power vs Air??
