I have a 1967 John Deere 2010 tractor. The hydraulic system stopped working so I cleaned the very dirty filter element and changed the fluid. It worked great for about 15 minutes then stopped working again. Once again I checked the element and it was clean. I refilled the system and tried it. It worked perfect again for about the same time then it stopped again, no power steering or bucket function.? Any help would be"GREATLY APPRECIATED" !

While cleaning the hydraulic element on my 1966 2010 John Deere the end gasket came off the element. I was told they cannot be put back on ? They are over a hundred and fifty dollars new?

Ford 8N blowing hydraulic oil out of shifting lever and arms won't raise. Plugged? Any suggestions!

To those that chastise Rachel for starting it from the ground and not in the seat, the Ford tractors of that era (I'm not familiar with newer ones), have an interlock with the starter button that won't allow it to be pressed if the transmission isn't in neutral.

This young woman should never start a tractor while standing in front of the rear tire. She is gambling with her life.
-
Should always start a tractor seated in the driver's seat, to many accidents happen because of loose safety practices!
-
thank you very very much it works awesomely keep up the awesome work the young lady knows what she's talking about
-
bookmarked it , as with all your videos I learned something , I have an old 8n and sometimes its slow about bringing the pto up but its probably age . I really like seeing a young lady doing a tutorial that knows, not only how it works but can show you how to repair it . YOU ROCK GIRL>.

i need to rent Rachel for about 3 weeks! Ive got lots of minor tractor small items that need attention and it seems i just cant ever find the time to complete all of them!! Thanks for your movies,,,ive learned a lot from them. You musta had a great teacher

This video helped us out of a jam today. I didn't even have to seal the hole with the air needle going in and the pump picked enough oil up to start raising and lowering. All we did was drain the oil and fill it back up, and it wouldn't work. Not being a tractor guy, this video helped immensely.

will this work on Mitsubishi tractor front loader

As a veteran farm tractor mechanic one rule is to never start any piece of equipment from the ground. What if the tractor was in gear ? If that tractor had a neutral start switch would you trust it. Any educational video should include safety as the first lesson

this video is bullshit. I added hydraulic oil, pushed it with air, and the air pressure blew out every suction pump seal, a proportional valve and some other valve. cost me $8,000. thanks.

Should maybe advise people to make sure the tractor is out of gear before starting it standing in front of the tire. My 9n will start in gear. Im sure you are aware of this, but there are certain people out there that wouldn't take the time to check.

I have a MF diesel tractor. I changed a few hydraulic hoses and filled it up completely. My bucket does not raise. Have any ideas? Thank you.

clever clever!

Camera person needs to use close up can't see where you are putting the air in.

I have a 8n that I just replaced the hydraulic pump on. Now the arms lift fine with no weight but won't lift at all with weight on them. There are no visible leaks. open up the box and all i could find was a broken spring. put it back together and had a little improvement so now once it's up it no longer falls back down. You can get the box blade up with a board or bouncing on the back. any suggestions?
