Machines | How to add Enemy AI in BGE - Part 4: taking cover, adding player and melee attack
videos | at work | information | view | construction
This is the 4th part in the how to add Enemy AI in BGE series, if you have not watched the previous parts it is recommended you do. In this video we use our navigation mesh generated in the previous episode to get our enemy to run behind cover, once he is behind cover he ducks down, then stands up and attacks. We also use his running animations for this, and make a start on state 5 with his melee animation. Also we add our player, with a 3rd person camera so we can see the environment around us. The script used in this video was originally created by MrLarodos, you can check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrLarodos Likes, comments and shares are greatly appreciated :D Download links: tracking Script: http://download1503.mediafire.com/k0sddn0ycvng/d3dt13i5s0u78kg/enemytrack.txt Mouselook: http://download1386.mediafire.com/1uv9mxn55k5g/8it9aelkyaym189/Mouselook.py.txt Starting .blend: http://download1692.mediafire.com/ryo1ngycu36g/br3hd5ru2bk0a5g/finishedEnemyAI+part+3.blend Finished .blend: http://download1350.mediafire.com/z7pn6849ri6g/5fh58dhtpvkjf37/finishedEnemyAI+part+4.blend Stay Inspired!

And what exactly is the difference between "Seek" and "Path following" as the Steering option other than having visualization in Path following?

these tutorials are amazing!
Can we use all the scripts in our own games if they're going to be put up online for download for example? -
Hey man. Your videos have been a huge help to my games. But i am having trouble with my character getting into vehicles and driving them. Do you know how to do that?
