The lever will be mechanically linked with the spool of the valve block. So as we move the lever the, we are mechanically (directly) moving the spool of the valve block (so there is an effort). But in joystick a servo pump is used to provide a flow directly to the spool on the valve block to move it. So have a look at this video to learn how servo pump assisted joysticks work in construction equipments. Yes in some system the joysticks use the pressure from the main pump. of course with a reducing pressure valve in line. Good video, but the joystick doesn't have a spool lol

The representation of joystick is not correct. It is a set of four pressure reducing valves and not like a spool. Please correct

I really thank you, I've been looking for an explanation for several hours, searching 'Hydraulic excavator levers' but only found PDF's about promoting an excavator.. I really needed this for passing school :)
