I live in South Carolina and there is just not the quality of used tractors around here like you see in the Midwest. I think a lot if it has to do with the fact that a lot of farmers leave there equipment out in the weather for most of the year. Also I think farming is not as profitable here as in the Midwest so this leads to tractors and equipment not being as well maintained and just wanting to make it another year before spending any money.

I live in Prince Edward island.. Canada. spud country. rust is a big factor here on equipment.

It is very obvious the rust on the east coast (ocean side) tractor. Definitely a factor.
