I was a trainee at Jaguar Cars in 1980 and in one of the training rooms there was a stripped down axle to explain the differential. If you turned one of the wheels the other wheel would rotate in the opposite direction. I could never get my head around it. Having watched this, I sort of understand but it still baffles me.

The guy has such great command using the tone and inflection of his voice. I love the way he hits a dramatic peak 3:12 while saying, "...it is called... the differential."
