While driving over the road I noticed a front end right tier shake Got it checked right wheel KingPin got a little play in it and needs to be fixed One kingpin $400.00 One kingpin purchased OK, According to a Mercedes front end you are aloud to buy one king pin Another words, ether or which ever one goes bad you can change that one which is good but it is expansive, you are paying $400.00 it is a price for two Also this kingPin dose not have bushing, the bushing are like the bearings Ok, two bearing on the top of the KingPin and two bearing on the bottom of the KingPin. this style of bearings don't fair very well from what I have seen . we used the standard brass style or the Kaiser style .

You should take off these brake shoes, hub, slack adjuster's tube and work only on bare spindle. Hub's oil seal will be leaking after assembling all.
Both king pins need to be replace at the same time. Did you install grease seals on both sides? Did you use some antiseize for king pin's locking wedge.......?

Why don't u take out the brakes mark em top and botom. Remove the chamber it might seemed like more work but ull be saving time and ull do a better job in positioning the king pin so the shims won't get damaged.
