If you would buy a thousand acres of land and all new machinery it would cost about 10 million dollars

is travis your brother
-
I have 2 of those corn heads. 643's. Only thing used now is the 843 on the 8820 Titan IIz
-
You go so slow, or maybe it's because you run a 6 row on a small combine. 9510 is kind of small so a 6 row really is pretty big on one...
-
do you ever go corn blind like you can go snow blind
-
feed corn for dairy?
-
So, it looks like the "grain cart" is is being filled from the combine and the "gravity wagon" is shuttling the corn to the grain bin from the field. Is this right Ryan?
-
How many acres does your family farm?
-
Good video.Thank you.How do get all the debris out of the kernels of corn.Do you screen it or does the place you sell it take care of that part?
-
6 row head will cut plenty of corn in a day. There is plenty of money to be made in smaller fields. Less cash rent, use of smaller and more economical equipment equates to larger margins. Agriculture needs the smaller producers as well as the big guys to meet the demand. All that matters is "does it pay the bills?" I know a bunch of big guys still digging out of red ink from years past.

Where in wi are you?

No cutoff for the talk? Key boar problem! LOL!

That's normal for wisconsin, it was a odd year. I don't get out in the fields as much as I'd like to, I spend most days in the shop. Today was replacing discs for next week
-
Are you planting any winter wheat this year? What kind of yields did you get from beans?
-
A four row? Why so small? We have no less then a 12 row, maybe because we try to get 2000 acres of corn done quickly
-
That head looks a little small
-
still cool
