This is a Horwood Bagshaw OFG 6HP open crank stationary engine. Made in Adelaide but a close copy of the Fairbanks Morse Z engine. This example Eng. No. 1910 is probably from the mid 1930s. It is throttle governed, has a fuel pump incorporated into the carburetor as seen and has provision for water injection when used under heavy load. These engines were made by J.S. Bagshaw & Sons Ltd from 1921 - 1924 and then by Horwood Bagshaw Ltd to the 1940s.
