In the fall of 2011, John and Don Goodes of St. Elijah Pioneer Museum, Lennard, Manitoba, sat down and talked about the past with Paul and Violet Flundra of Russel Manitoba. In this audio interview illustrated with photos Paul talks about farming (c. 1930-1960), about having up to 17 horses, plowing the field and breaking for lunch. Paul and Violet talk also about changing to using tractors and how this impacted their lives. Paul Flundra was one of the last people in the community to make this change.
